Chicago – Nei giorni scorsi, Boeing ha rilasciato un rapporto con le previsioni del mercato aereo per il prossimo ventennio (2016-2035), rapporto interessante sotto diversi punti di vista.
Anzitutto, la previsione della domanda di nuovi mezzi, stimata dal costruttore in oltre 15.000 velivoli: per quanto questa stima possa essere discutibile per le numerose variabili che la influenzano, rappresenta comunque la base di partenza per il calcolo del numero di addetti (piloti, assistenti, tecnici e maestranze varie) che saranno necessari alle compagnie per consentire l’utilizzo della flotta.
In quest’ottica, Boeing prevede la necessità di una forza lavoro di oltre 2 milioni di nuovi addetti da qui al 2035, dei quali 617.000 piloti, 679.000 tecnici e ben 814.000 assistenti di volo.
Altro aspetto interessante del rapporto, riguarda la distribuzione geografica della domanda: a farla da padrone, infatti, con circa il 40% della domanda, è la regione asiatica, con la Cina che diventerà la principale protagonista della crescita del mercato aereo. Boeing stima che Pechino avrà la necessità di assumere oltre 5.500 nuovi piloti all’anno da qui ai prossimi vent’anni.
Analoga previsione la fa il diretto concorrente Airbus, che ha rilasciato le proprie previsioni di mercato indicando che la Cina andrà a quadruplicare il numero di passeggeri attualmente trasportati, superando il Nord America, ormai destinato, come mercato, a perdere il primato.
Già oggi le compagnie cinesi faticano a colmare la necessità di piloti, andando ad attingere sempre più alle risorse disponibili oltre confine: secondo Bloomberg si è in presenza di una continua domanda di piloti da parte delle diverse compagnie regionali, che si spingono ad offrire oltre 300.000 dollari l’anno pur di coprire l’attuale carenza di professionisti.
