La sussidiaria low cost del gruppo Lufthansa ha confermato l’apertura per la stagione estiva 2017 della nuova base di Monaco di Baviera, con il posizionamento di 4 aeromobili A320.
Le rotte saranno operate per Eurowings in wet leasing da Air Berlin, nell’ottica del recente accordo tra LH ed EY e sono indirizzate prevalentemente a raccogliere un traffico turistico con origine dalla Baviera.
Per quanto riguarda l’Italia è prevista l’apertura di sette destinazioni (Roma, Lamezia, Olbia, Cagliari, Napoli Palermo e Brindisi) tutte con frequenze piuttosto ridotte comprese tra i cinque voli a settimana di Fiumicino ed il settimanale per Brindisi e Cagliari.
“Con questo nuovo programma di voli da Monaco di Baviera – dice Karl Ulrich Garnadt, membro dell’executive board di Lufthansa -, ci posizioniamo sempre più come motore di crescita del gruppo Lufthansa. Con questa nuova base nella Germania meridionale il nostro obiettivo di diventare un leader europeo nel mercato dei voli diretti a basso costo riceve una forte spinta per il 2017”.
