Malaysia Airlines Introduces “Child-Free” Cabin on Airbus A380 Upper Deck

In a routine advisory issued to travel agents in South Korea (
Topas &
Abacus),
Malaysia Airlines is introducing new policy, which does not allow kids of age 12 and/or under to sit in upper deck Economy Class on its A380 aircraft.
Malaysia Airline’s configuration for A380 Upper Deck is for 64 business and 68 economy class seats, first reported on this site on
05JAN12. The airline claims this is to make sure passenger comfort for business travellers, including those flying on economy class.
As of 03APR12, planned Malaysia Airlines A380 service remains unchanged.
