easyJet Doubles Milan Linate Schedule Following Additional Slot Allocation
New flights, more connections, and continued growth driven by TAAAC strategy

Milan, 01 April 2025 — easyJet is proud to announce a significant expansion of its operations at Milan Linate Airport, following the release of additional slots previously held by ITA Airways and Lufthansa. With this new allocation, easyJet will more than double its daily schedule from Linate, solidifying its position as one of the key carriers serving Milan and northern Italy.

Thanks to this milestone, easyJet will increase the number of based aircraft at Linate from 5 to 10 and add a host of new routes and frequencies to major business and leisure destinations across Europe. This includes enhanced connectivity to the wide range of European destinations launched with the 2025 summer schedule, as well as new additions to the network that will be revealed in the coming weeks.

The expansion reflects easyJet’s continued investment in Italy and its strategic focus on Milan Linate as a premium, high-potential hub for both business and weekend travelers.

“At a time when demand for efficient, well-timed and affordable air travel is stronger than ever, we’re thrilled to double our presence at Linate,” said Kenton Jarvis, CEO of easyJet. “This is not just growth for growth’s sake — it’s a reflection of our belief in Milan as a European business and tourism powerhouse. And it’s all driven by our strategic pillar: TAAAC.”

TAAAC: easyJet’s Guiding Strategy

easyJet’s expansion at Linate is underpinned by the airline’s five-part strategic approach, summed up in the acronym TAAAC:
  • Timely: All flights scheduled for morning and evening convenience, ideal for business day trips and weekend breaks.
  • Accessible: Serving more European capitals than ever before from Milan’s city airport.
  • Affordable: Offering competitive pricing without compromising on service.
  • Attractive: A pilot project introducing free snacks and no baggage restrictions from Linate, in line with local expectations.
  • Connections: Seamless, frequent links to the cities that matter most for business and leisure.
This expansion strengthens easyJet’s role in delivering more choice, flexibility, and value to Italian and European travelers alike.

Tickets for the new flights will be available shortly at easyJet.com.
