Presa dalla pagina FB di Air crash investigation, quindi con la dovuta cautela

News is now emerging of the final hours of
23 year old Blake Wilson the pilot who crashed
his Robinson R44 into the hotel roof in Cairns,
Australia.
According to reports, Blake who had his
helicopter licence but it being issued in New
Zealand was not valid to fly in Australia.
As such he was employed as ground crew with
Nautilus Aviation and had just received a
promotion within the company which meant he
would be leaving Cairns and moving to another
location.
That fateful evening, he and a number of his
colleagues went out celebrating in Cairns which led him to getting extremely drunk and
then according to reports he was 'put to bed'.
Sometime later that night he stole the company's R44 and went on what can only be
described as a drunken joyride!
This obviously ended up with him eventually
losing control and crashing into the hotel losing his life in the process.
Friends and of course colleagues were shocked at the news of what happened.
The investigation is still ongoing but these are
the basic facts which led up to the fatal crash.

Sembra una ricostruzione accurata, da quanto si legge nelle news.
