Hi gents,
today I was able to shoot, which seems was the last time to witness a 3-ship of all colored "mighty Phantoms".....
As tomorrow will be the spottersday, these are as well a few teasers for you guys which will be traveling to Wittmund.
You can expect even the F-86 , Me-109E and also the Starfighter of the Fighter Wing 71"R" in the static-display too. Plus the mentioned a/c from the invitation too.
Luckily the weather was absolutely stunning, totaly different as the wx forecast was as we normaly expect in Wittmund.
Especially the special colored "mighty Phantom" were the stars of the day for us in Wittmund
Today a special a-air photo-mission with all three colored Phantoms was scheduled, and luckily the former Fighter Wing 74 from Neuburg was flying also. As this jet had still some problems ýesterday, and was succesfully fixed last night @ around 0130 local. So the maintenance guys did a really phantastic job to get the job done.
Ok, enough of my blabla.... let the pictures telling the rest of the story....
Hope you enjoy my photo journey....and to be continued tomorrow!
Cheers,
Mick
