Poznan (POZ) 04.12.12. - LOT B787 Dreamliner

Hi everybody !

Last tuesday I got the chance to visit LOT Polish Airlines´ newest toy - the Dreamliner .
I traveled to Poznan in the morning and joined the local spotter group. We were allowed to access the ramp and here are a few impressions of that day . Unfortunately the weather conditions were not so good.

Why has the 787 landed in Poznan?

The flight crews practise on national routes, mostly on WAW-KRK-BZG-KRK-WAW. These are non-commercial flights. Beside LOT promotes its new toy, so the Dreamliner visits - as part of its practice session - nearly all big airports in Poland. It´s always a big event for the press, media and the local spotter groups (some of them may even enter the ramp). The Dreamliner has visited WAW, GDN, WRO, KRK, KTW, POZ and BZG so far. In a few days they will start their promotion tour with commercial flights to chosen destinations in Europe.

Yes, it´s pretty similar to the Tarom design. I prefer the old livery... maybe a little bit old-fashioned, but with a kind of tradition .



If you´re interested in a HD panorama of the B787 I would´t add it next time .
