ho una prenotazione con Avianca per un volo da Quito (UIO) a Baltra (GPS) nel prossimo mese di Settembre.
Dopo varie letture in giro circa le tariffe riservate ai Residenti o meno, avevo capito che questa differenza non era più in vigore cosi ho prenotato con una tariffa M ovvero quella con bagaglio ecc, le condizioni tariffarie non riportano nessuna indicazione in merito alla nazionalità del passeggero. ( ve le riporto in fondo al messaggio)
Poi ho trovato in rete molti commenti di persone a cui veniva fatto pagare 150$ al ceck-in per questo motivo!
Ho cercato di contattare Avianca ma non è semplice il numero italiano non funziona. Ho scritto su Twitter e cosi mi hanno risposto: voi che ne pensate? Avrei preferito avere una mail scritta da presentare perchè ne ho lette di tutti i colori

»Changes before flight departure: Available for all fares, including XS fare. For ticket purchases before May 3, 2023, regardless of the flight date, changes to the XS fare are not permitted. Please note that the following additional charges may apply: i) Fare difference, ii) Change fee (only for XS, S and M fares) iii) Differences generated by taxes.
I) Fare difference: Corresponds to the differential value between the ticket you initially purchased and the new option you are choosing.
II) Change fee (only for XS, S and M fares): Additional charge generated by voluntary changes made to the ticket.
Flights within Colombia COP 110.000 Flights within Ecuador USD 28 International flights within South America USD 170 Other International flights*USD 200
(*) Applies to flights to and from Europe, North America, Central America, Mexico and the Caribbean.
III) And differences generated by taxes.
The changes for L and XXL fares are allowed before and after departure with no change fee, but fare difference and tax charges may apply.

Included and subject to availability when purchasing the L fare.
»Refunds: Applies to L and XXL fares. In Colombia, refunds requested until June 30, 2023 will be made to an Avianca UATP Card, in accordance with article 17 of Decreed 482 of 2020.
Refunds after the flight are not allowed on any fare, except for operational events.
The refund condition applies to the value paid for the fare. Taxes will be refunded in accordance with the applicable legal provisions.
Our fares (XS, S, M, and L), except XXL, are promotional fares.
From June 1, 2023, additional services that you purchase for your booking and choose not to use, will be refundable only if your fare is L or XXL.
Unused additional services due to airline´s fault will be refundable for all fares.
