La compagnia vietnamita ha ricevuto il riconoscimento da parte di Skytrax durante i World Airline Awards tenutisi la scorsa settimana al Farnborough International Airshow 2016
Vietnam Airlines, la compagnia aerea vietnamita di cui MST gsa è Passenger Sales Agent per l’Italia, ha ricevuto il riconoscimento come 4-Star Airline da parte di Skytrax, la più importante organizzazione mondiale di rating per il mondo dei vettori e degli aeroporti. Per ottenere la certificazione, il vettore vietnamita ha dovuto passare attraverso le diverse fasi del processo di valutazione condotto da Skytrax, che ha preso in considerazione tutti gli aspetti del prodotto offerto da Vietnam Airlines, sia a bordo dei propri voli che negli aeroporti.
“Il premio come 4-Star Airline è un grande risultato per Vietnam Airlines ed è il risultato del duro lavoro svolto negli ultimi anni all’interno di un’ampia gamma di prodotti e servizi. In particolare, la recente introduzione di due nuovi tipi di aeromobili ha rappresentato una grande sfida, ma la ricompensa è stata di poter disporre un eccellente prodotto di lungo raggio”, ha detto Edward Plaisted, CEO di Skytrax riferendosi all’upgrade che dallo scorso anno il vettore vietnamita ha compiuti sui collegamenti long haul.
Durante gli ultimi diciotto mesi, Vietnam Airlines ha introdotto nella propria flotta di lungo raggio sia il Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner che l’Airbus 350-900 XWB, realizzando un significativo miglioramento della propria offerta. In particolare, le novità hanno riguardato il lancio di una nuova corporate identity, l’inaugurazione di servizi di customer care ed e-commerce più efficienti e il perfezionamento del training di equipaggi, piloti e personale di terra. Per la fine del 2016, poi, entrambe le tipologia di aeromobili entreranno in servizio su tutte le rotte che collegano l’Europa all’Australia servite dalla compagnia. Attualmente, il vettore vietnamita ha già ricevuto 11 esemplari di B787 e A350, in attesa che entro la fine del 2017 ne arrivino altri 9.
“Sono onorato di accettare un riconoscimento così prestigioso che dimostra i progressi che Vietnam Airlines ha fatto negli ultimi tempi, avvicinandosi al suo obiettivo di diventare la migliore compagnia aerea dell’intera Asia”, ha sottolineato durante la cerimonia di premiazione Duong Tri Thanh, President e CEO di Vietnam Airlines.
Vietnam Airlines, membro dell’allenza SkyTeam dal 2010, serve 93 rotte tra cui 21 nazionali e 29 internazionali con più di 300 voli giornalieri verso mete come Laos, Cambogia, Birmania, Far East e Australia. Dall’Europa, la compagnia collega Hanoi e Ho Chi Minh City con voli da Parigi, Francoforte e Londra. I tre hub sono raggiungibili da 6 aeroporti italiani – Milano, Roma, Bologna, Torino, Venezia e Pisa – grazie ad accordi con Alitalia, Air France, British Airways.
