What a wild series of events at SFO during Thursday’s Airline Videos Live broadcast!
An Emirates A380 was cleared for takeoff on 28L with a Qantas 787 on final approach… leading to the 787 going around as the A380 rolled down the runway.
Meanwhile, a Turkish Airlines 777-300ER approaching 28R ALSO went around… twice!
The 777 finally landed safely on 28L.
Was this an ATC miscalculation, or did the A380 take too long to get moving?

Non avete il sospetto che il turnover mandando via quelli che costano tanto e sono un po' seduti e assumendo con nuovi negoziati quelli servono e che sono piu' affamati convenga?

Se vogliono riprendere pensionati devono pagarli a peso. Soprattutto se li assumono come contractors. Questa e' la classica p*ttanata fatta da qualcuno, come i ventenni che Musk ha preso per lavorare da DOGE, che non ha la piu' pallida idea di come funzionino le cose.

Ho visto lo stesso qualche anno fa post pandemia, aziende che hanno segato a tutto spiano per prendere forza lavoro un tanto al kg e si son ritrovati a richiamare gente che per metà aveva trovato altro, un quarto li ha mandati ad arare campi e l'ultimo quarto ha accettato col doppio dello stipendio di prima.
Il tutto nella perfetta persecuzione dei piani di una certa società di consulenza che vaga per il mondo a dare "consigli" a peso d'oro...
