Destinazione sicuramente insolita e di nicchia comunque è solo un 2x week. Vediamo se potrà reggere anche se secondo me c'èra piu' potenzialità di traffico su Cracovia.

Ottimo finalmente dopo anni di immobilismo c'è un risveglio sul fronte polacco, con l'aumento di frequenze di LOT su WAW e le nuove rotte di Eurolot per Lublino e Breslavia. A questo punto per completare il quadro ci vorrebbe un volo per Cracovia per secondo me avrebbe buone potenzialità di successo.

State-controlled regional airline Eurolot, an offshoot of LOT Polish Airlines, is going into liquidation after struggling with financial problems.
The airline has blocked all bookings beyond 31 March this year, but it promises that reservations already made for April and afterwards will be refunded. The move had been expected. ''For two months we analyzed various options concerning Eurolot's activities,'' commented Adam Ambrozik, head of a restructuring department at the Treasury Ministry. ''We have taken responsible decisions regarding the ownership,'' he added. Ambrozik argues that there is no forseeable way of making the airline profitable. The treasury had a 62.1 percent stake in the airline. Planes used by Eurolot will be transferred to LOT Polish Airlines. LOT itself had been struggling in recent years, leading to controversial state bail-outs, and it has been looking for investors outside Poland. EuroLOT (K2, Warsaw Chopin) has announced that it will suspend operations on March 31 and that the carrier will be liquidated thereafter. The majority state owned regional carrier will continue to operate as planned until the end of next month after which some of the carrier's aircraft will be transferred to LOT Polish Airlines (LO, Warsaw Chopin).

A spokesperson of the Polish Treasury Ministry said there was no prospect of profits at the airline in the foreseeable future justifying the drastic decision.

EuroLOT currently operates 10 Dash 8-400s on regional services. It also operates two EMB-175s for Polska Wojska Lotnicze i Obrony Powietrznej (Warsaw Chopin) on behalf of the Polish government.

It currently operates from Gdansk to Amsterdam, Kraków and via Lublin to Milan Malpensa, from Kraków to Amsterdam and Zurich, from Rzeszow to Paris Beauvais, from Warsaw Chopin to Bydgoszcz, Chisinau, Dusseldorf, Stuttgart Echterdingen, Wroclaw and Zagreb as well as between Wroclaw and Zurich.
