SAFETY FIRST
In addition to giving excellent services to passengers, our first priority is to guarantee safety of all our flight. All Adam air staffs have the same perspective on safety as the top and nonnegotiable factor.
Adam Air has developed Aircraft Maintenance Department backed up by skilled and experienced engineers on handling Boeing 737’s. Our engineers are capable of conducting the so-called line maintenance consisting of preflight check, transit check, daily check and “A” check, lower level of maintenance that should be conducted every 250 hours.
Our maintenance program has been accredited by Departemen Sertifikasi Kelaikan Udara (DSKU) Indonesia. DSKU is very strict in conducting maintenance and operation control on any aircraft in Indonesia and often conducts airworthiness audit on our aircraft. DSKU adopts Civil Aviation Safety Regulation (CASR) as airworthiness and aviation safety standard, which mainly refers to US Federal aviation Regulation (FAR).
For higher level of maintenance such as maintenance per 4,000 flight hours (C Check) and maintenance per 24,000 flight hours (D Check), Adam Air has established agreement with Garuda Maintenance Facility (GMF Aero Asia).
GMF Aero Asia is the only Aircraft Maintenance Facility in Indonesia having acquired accreditation and certification from US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and European Union (JAA). GMF Aero Asia has been highly experienced and skillful of handling Boeing 737 maintenance; moreover; tens of Boeing 737’s of Garuda Indonesia Airways are maintained by GMF Aero Asia.
For engine maintenance, Adam Air has entrusted its engine overhaul to Singapore Technology Aerospace (ST Aero) of Singapore, General Electric Engine (GE Engine) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Snecma in France.
Further, to ensure all spare component used in our aircrafts are truly serviceable, Adam Air has also established component support agreement with Singapore Technology Aerospace (ST Aero) concerning spare parts procurement and repair of our unserviceable component. ST Aero is the Singapore aviation company having aircraft and spare parts maintenance facilities throughout Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East and America. ST Aero is the largest independent aircraft maintenance and repair facility (MRO) with 5,000 employees all over the world and having customers from different worldwide airlines including World Top 7 Airlines companies.
Safety will be put on top priority for providing safe carriage to all passengers. For safety reasons, we are very strict to anybody whomsoever. Thus, we apologize for having to argue with you due to any condition beyond control, such as bad weather, so that a flight must be delayed or cancelled.
