Assolutamente. Nel 2013 c'è stato il primo power surge e in-flight shutdown per un GE90-115B che mi ricordi per BA su un aereo che faceva la rotta LHR-SIN (e poi SYD). Quel particolare 77W aveva meno di un anno di vita.

DTM esiste fondamentalmente in funzione degli immigrati slavi, a parte un voletto per Londra e Maiorca. Insomma, DTM è "roba" di W6.
Immagino che il grosso dei voli rimarrà.
Tribolate le storie dei voli per CTA/BRI/NAP... non so neanche se, l'anno scorso, l'ultimo sia davvero mai partito o l'abbiano cassato subito.

Diversi anni fa anche Easyjet aveva una base a DTM c'era stato per un breve periodo anche un volo per MXP, poi la base era stata chiusa per scarsi risultati. Nonostante la zona di Dortmund sia molto sviluppata la gran parte del traffico parte da DUS e CGN.
Giudizio personale Dortmund di gran lunga la città piu' brutta della Germania e probabilmente d' Europa, niente di interessante da vedere, molte zone dismesse e abbandonate, davvero poco accogliente.

Wizz Air, Europe’s fastest growing and greenest airline announced today the allocation of a sixth aircraft to its Tirana base. The new Airbus A321 will join the fleet in December 2021, enabling the start of 4 new routes from Tirana to Liverpool in United Kingdom, Madrid in Spain, Billund in Denmark and Oslo Sandefjord Torp in Norway, as well as the increase of frequencies of the airline’s existing routes to: Ancona, Verona (Italy), London Luton (UK), Brussels Charleroi (Belgium), Paris Beauvais (France), Berlin, Hamburg, Memmingen/Munich West (Germany). The new low fare routes are already on sale on www.wizzair.com and via WIZZ mobile app with fares starting as low as EUR 19.99.
Wizz Air started operations in Albania in April 2017and has carried over 0.5 million passengers during 4 years of successful operations. With today’s announcement by this winter the airline will have a fleet of six modern, state of the art young aircraft at its Tirana base. Wizz Air remains highly committed to Tirana, to the Albanian market and to offering great services paired with low fares it its distinguished passengers. The airline will have an all Airbus A321 fleet in Albania as of the 2021 winter. The newly allocated capacity of over 251 000 seats per year will further contribute to the Albanian aviation market and to the creation of over 40 new direct jobs with Wizz Air. Together with 4 new services, Wizz Air now offers 38 routes to 15 countries from Tirana.
The basing of the 6 aircraft to Tirana today reinforces the airline’s pledge to an environmentally-conscious operations. With a fleet of an average age of 5.4 years consisting of the most efficient and sustainable Airbus A320 family single aisle aircraft currently available, Wizz Air’s carbon-dioxide emissions are the lowest among European airlines in FY2020 (57.2 gr/km/passenger). Thanks to the largest order book of over 250 aircraft from the state-of-the-art Airbus A320neo family, the airline has made a commitment to further cut its environmental footprint by 25% for every passenger until 2030, alongside over 60 sustainability initiatives, including carbon offsetting, fuel efficiency and noise reduction.

Faccio self-quoting per dire che il vettore magiaro ha cancellato definitivamente la Sarajevo-Luton (per la cronaca, ci avevano già provato anni fa, come anche FlyBosnia più di recente). Senza fare discorsi alla good-old Caldi, mi sorprende che non regga nemmeno uno stagionale 2-weekly, ma evidentemente avranno (WizzAir) le loro eccellenti ragioni. Detto ciò, stanno per annunciare un'espansione dalla base di Tuzla e sembra che Luton sia tra le papabili.

Soprattutto adesso che hanno completato lo sminamento delle montagne attorno alla capitale, finalmente si può correre/girare in mountain bike o semplicemente respirare aria pulita e godersi il panorama senza il timore di saltare in aria. Tuzla, a parte i laghi di sale, not a lot to see.

Malpensa, caos sul volo per Tirana
Sul volo WizzAir per Tirana in partenza da Malpensa un passeggero ha dato in escandescenze e un'altra si è sentita male

Qui in Albania fino ieri tutte le compagnie ofrivano bagaglio incluso. Gia era un problema quando si chiedeva il pagamento per peso extra. Servira un po di tempo finche il mercato si abitui al nuovo modello di transporto. Anche Wizz deve migliorare un po la situazione degli ritardi.

Da Catania non si volerà più per Abu Dhabi rimpiazzata da Dubai. Probabile il cambio di destinazioni viste le maggiori restrizioni di Abu Dhabi rispetto a Dubai che prevedono in aggiunta al test molecolare effettuato nel Paese di provenienza entro le 72 ore dall’imbarco, sono sottoposti ad un ulteriore test molecolare in arrivo all’aeroporto. Dal 18 agosto 2021, i passeggeri provenienti con volo diretto dall’Italia oltre al test all’arrivo, dovranno sottoporsi ad un periodo di quarantena di 7 giorni monitorata con braccialetto elettronico con ripetizione del test al 6^ giorno (se vaccinati) oppure ad un periodo di quarantena di 10 giorni, sempre monitorato con braccialetto elettronico, con ripetizione del test al 9^ giorno di permanenza (se non vaccinati).
