On 27 April Blue Air opened its newest base – Constanta. Among those at the base opening was Blue Air CCO Tudor Constantinescu. The airport also baked a cake to mark its new connections to Paris Beauvais and Rome Fiumicino with the carrier, while more routes from the Romanian coastal resort will be launched in the coming weeks.
Celebrations were also had at Paris Beauvais on 29 April to welcome the arrival of Blue Air’s new route from Constanta. The 2,070-kilometre sector will be flown by the carrier twice-weekly (Wednesdays and Saturdays). Blue Air also serves the French airport from Bucharest and Iasi.
Seen cutting the cake in Turin, commissioned to celebrate the start of Blue Air’s new service to Malaga, are Mauro Bolla, Country Manager Italy, Blue Air, and Francesca Soncini, PR Manager, Turin Airport. Launched 28 April, Blue Air will serve the 1,387-kilometre sector three times weekly on its 737-500s.
Blue Air this week opened its newest base – Constanta (CND) – initially opening routes to Paris Beauvais (BVA) and Rome Fiumicino (FCO). The airline will also add Brussels, Cluj-Napoca, Iasi, Oradea and Timisoara from its Constanta base in the coming weeks. Along with opening its newest base, the carrier has this week also expanded from its Liverpool (LPL) and Turin (TRN) bases, with the UK airport gaining a link to Alicante (ALC) and the Italian hub welcoming a connection with Malaga (AGP).
