interessante articolo su dichiarazioni ufficiali della NASA circa l'utilizzo delle batterie a bordo
a leggerlo si rimane sconcertati , i problemi di thermal runaway erano stati individuati e scoperti da tempo , ben prima che si manifestassero sul dreamliner
tra l'altro si legge che uno stesso sottofornitore di batterie fornisce a NASA e a Boeing
problemi che in nasa han risolto
in boeing invece sono stati lasciati li sperando che alla fine come fantasie in un sogno svanissero al risveglio
più che un sogno un incubo

se sta storia fosse vera mi pare incredibile della faciloneria con la quale è stato affrontato il problema

Segnalo che ieri sera le 21 sono riuscito a vedere il 787 della Lot in atterraggio c/o aeroporto di Varsavia. Purtroppo la distanza ed un hangar mi hanno impedito di fare foto. Dal vivo è un bel "bestione"!

Pare che la CAAC, l'ente cinese dell'aviazione civile, stia formalizzando l'airworthiness certificate del 787, che Hainan e China Southern attendevano dal 2012. Si sbloccano quindi le consegne di una serie di 787 pronti da tempo alla consegna: verosimile nel giro di un paio di settimane la consegna di un totale di cinque esemplari ai due vettori.

As per 24MAY13 GDS inventory display, LOT Polish Airlines plans to operate Boeing 787 aircraft on Warsaw – Tbilisi route, on one-time basis. The Boeing 787 will replace Embraer E175/195 aircraft.

Sono tornati a volare, in questi giorni, i 787 di Air India e Qatar su LHR. Casa mia ha un'interessante vista sugli approcci a LHR quando si vola sopra la città, e stamattina me li sono beccati entrambi. La rumoriosità è veramente ridotta, soprattutto se comparata a quella di un 767-400 o di un A330 (che, da terra, fa proprio un gran casino).

Sì significa che il volo opera in tali giorni, altrimenti con il simbolo X davanti significa che in quei giorni non opera! Per ora le date son quelle, è chiaro che cambi dell' ultim'ora sono sempre da considerare per qualsiasi ragione...

AM credo abbia interesse nel riproporre tale rotta, specialmente se non stop! Per quest' anno mi sa che è esclusa la cosa, ma forse il prossimo anno qualcosa potrebbe muoversi con l' arrivo in flotta degli altri 787!

As per 29MAY13 GDS inventory display, Norwegian in August 2013 is to operate Boeing 787 aircraft on a number of intra-European service, before entering long-haul operation in the end of August 2013.
At time this post goes to press, Oslo – Malaga service on 01AUG13 and 04AUG13 is displaying Boeing 787 operation on one-way basis.
