La realtà dei fatti, le uniche cifre dure e pure, sono quelle che All Nippon Airways, il più grande utilizzatore di 787, ha pubblicato riguardo la "dispatch reliability" del 787, ossia quante volte l'aereo è partito senza avere guai tecnici o ritardi: 96.3%. (Fonte: http://www.flightglobal.com/news/articles/787-achieves-963-dispatch-reliability-366915/ ). Per inciso, è una % più alta di certe flotte in British Airways, giusto per dirne una. Ed è di sicuro più alta di aerei come 747-400 e 777 in simili fasi del loro sviluppo.

Sarei curioso di sapere se in AF la media sul 380 è simile...Stessa fonte, altre notizie. A380 oltre 97% per I primi 10 esemplari di Emirates...

Se non ricordo male per il 380 questa era sopra il 99%, anche da nuovo.Cosa ti devo dire, se non quello che ti ho già detto? Che il 787 è una macchina nuova e non ancora completa?

A costo di sembrare monotono, e di sicuro lo sono, il 787 è un cambio epocale per una compagnia come Boeing. Airbus è (quasi) sempre stata avanti in termini di R&D (solo i 777 di Boeing sono fly-by-wire, gli altri aerei sono principalmente ancora governati con i vecchi sistemi di cavi, seppur con alcune eccezioni per alcuni sistemi), mentre ora il passo da gigante lo hanno fatto gli americani. Ci vorrà del tempo, e pure parecchio secondo me, per far sì che la tecnologia del 787 diventi affidabile come quella di un 777. C'è tutta una curva di apprendimento da scalare, ma il punto di partenza, simboleggiato da quel 96.3%, è incoraggiante. Soprattutto se confrontato con gli ingressi di altri aerei, che oggi consideriamo affidabilissimi e sicurissimi.
I complimenti delle autorità giapponesi ai professionisti di Air India:Segnalo che il Giappone ha bannato i 787 di Air India per problemi di documentazione mancante o incompleta. Air India è stata costretta quindi a cambiare tipo di aereo e adesso vola sul Giappone coi 777.
