Easy Jet vola intra-EU con un COA Austriaco. Questo la fa considerare una compagnia comunitaria.
Non basta il COA comunitario, altrimenti chiunque potrebbe aprire una succursale e dichiararsi tale. In realtà per easy si è sfruttato il doppio passaporto di Stelios Ioannou. Un po' come quando ad essere comunitaria era Meridiana grazie al passaporto francese del Principe

Stando a wikipedia anche se quotata a Londra a questo punto piu' del 50% di U2 dovrebbe essere di proprieta' di investitori comunitari.

Non ho capito se si riferisce a EasyJet Europe o alla capogruppo EasyJet PLC (le altre sussidiarie sono EasyJet UK e EasyJet Switzerland)

Comunque non e' semplicissima la faccenda.

Following the UK's referendum vote to leave the European Union, EasyJet announced a plan to establish an Air Operator Certificate (AOC) in another EU member state. This will secure the flying rights of the 30% of EasyJet's network that remains wholly within and between EU states, excluding the UK. EasyJet expected a one-off cost of around £10 million over two years with up to £5 million incurred in the 2017 financial year. The primary driver of the cost is the re-registering of aircraft in an EU AOC jurisdiction.[104] In July 2017, EasyJet announced that it has applied for, and was subsequently granted by the Ministry of Transport, an Austrian Air Operator Certificate (AOC) and operating permit, thereby establishing EasyJet Europe. The new airline is headquartered in Vienna and will allow EasyJet to continue operating flights across and within European countries after the UK leaves the EU. The first aircraft, an Airbus A320, was re-registered as OE-IVA.[105]

EasyJet announced that the transition would result in no job losses in the UK, as the staff to be employed by EasyJet Europe are already based in the EU27. EasyJet UK staff would continue to be based in Luton. The group will thus comprise three airlines, EasyJet UK, EasyJet Europe, and EasyJet Switzerland, all of which are owned by EasyJet PLC, which is itself EU owned and controlled, listed on the London Stock Exchange, and based in the UK.[106] In May 2018, EasyJet confirmed that it was very close to achieving the required majority EU27 share ownership and that the UK government will nevertheless continue to consider it as a UK airline.[107]

La risposta si trova sul sito easyJet. In parole povere, hanno sospeso il diritto di voto di alcune delle azioni non di proprietà di soggetti comunitari, in modo da rispettare il vincolo del controllo

Issuance of Affected Share Notices

On 23 December 2020, easyJet plc (the "Company") announced that the Board had passed resolutions as part of its contingency plan to ensure continued compliance with EU ownership and control requirements following the end of the Brexit transition period on 31 December 2020.

In particular, the Board resolved to set a Permitted Maximum of Relevant Shares of 49.5%. The Permitted Maximum represents the maximum permitted level of ownership of the Company's shares by Relevant Persons (see Note 1).

As at 1 January 2021, the Company's level of ownership by EU persons (see Note 2) is 47.35% and the level of ownership by Relevant Persons is 52.65%.

The Board also notes that the EU-UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement does not grant a derogation or alleviation for EU carriers from the EU ownership and control requirements.

Accordingly, and in line with its contingency plan, the Company has commenced steps to suspend voting rights in respect of certain shares ("Affected Shares") held by Relevant Persons in accordance with the Company's articles of association (the "Articles") so that a majority of the voting rights in the Company are held by EU Persons.

Any such Relevant Persons will be receiving Affected Share Notices from the Company. The voting rights suspension is being applied on a "last in, first out" basis such that the shares most recently acquired by Relevant Persons will have voting rights suspended first.

An Affected Share Notice will specify that Article 39.6.1 applies in respect of the Affected Shares, which means that the registered holder of such Affected Shares shall not be entitled (until and unless that Affected Share Notice is withdrawn by the Company), in respect of such Affected Shares, to attend or to speak at any general meeting of the Company or any meeting of the holders of any class of shares or to vote at any such meeting.

This means that Relevant Persons, including those who acquire shares in the Company following this announcement, may have some or all of their voting rights suspended by the Company.

The Company may from time to time and by notice withdraw Affected Share Notices to ensure that the Relevant Persons whose voting rights are suspended are those who most recently acquired shares.

The Company will keep the position under review and, if ownership by Relevant Persons continues to exceed the Permitted Maximum over a sustained period, the Company retains the right to activate the existing provisions of its Articles, which permit the Company to compel Relevant Persons to sell their shares to EU nationals. There can be no assurance as to when, or if, the Permitted Maximum will be removed."

Aggiornamento: sono stati pubblicati gli operativi delle nuove rotte a LIN che già conoscevamo, la cosa interessante che adesso sappiamo le tipologie di aereo per ciascuna rotta, verrà basato a LIN un mix di A319 e A320. Non è dato sapere quanti di un tipo e quanti dell' altro. Inoltre non è dato sapere quali saranno gli aerei con metallo Easyjet e quali con metallo ITA.

Evidentemente in Luglio e Agosto utlizzeranno gli aerei in rotte che rendono di piu' oppure hanno problemi di motori e anziche' cancelllare rotte completamente sospendono rotte per due mesi alla volta. Non mi sembra il caso di gridare al "riducono per poi aumentare" (cit.)

Drastica riduzione di Easyjet sui collegamenti Malpensa- Aeroporti della Campania nei mesi di alta stagione estiva di luglio e agosto.
MXP-NAP passa da 2 o 3 daily a 2x week e Salerno sospeso.

Ryanair rimane 3x daily sulla MXP-NAP anche in estate e ringrazia

La banda arancione sul davanti copre il cockpit ed è tondeggiante sul sopra.
Inoltre, sul retro termina più in alto e copre completamente le due overwing, mentre non copre più i belly fairings.
Forse la scritta è leggermente più in basso e tocca i finestrini?

Non l'avranno mandato in Atitech per la verniciatura, vero? 😁

This is a new livery trialled on G-UZHL. The intention is to have more even distribution of orange vs white by moving the start point of the orange stripe from above the flight deck window to below. Additionally, the orange stripe now misses the overwing exit escape slide door which causes issues with in service replacements and stripe miss alignment.
